Robert P. Madonna
Chief Executive Officer
A business and technology pioneer, Mr. Madonna is the founder and current Chief Executive Officer of Savant Systems LLC, which was founded in 2005. Robert's extensive and successful background in open, programmable, standards–based switching and processing systems is driving Savant to be a leader in the Audio/Video and Control Systems Industry.
Mr. Madonna founded Excel Switching Corporation in 1988 where he served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, and President. Lucent Technologies purchased Excel in 1999. With the onset of de–regulation in the Telecommunications Industry, Mr. Madonna saw the opportunity to introduce an open, programmable and standards–based technology that would enable rapid deployment of new applications and features. Using this innovative approach, Excel Switching quickly became the leading provider of open–programmable switches to some of the largest Telecomm companies around the world. Eighteen years later, Mr. Madonna is applying the same principles of open and programmable systems at Savant that drove Excel Switching to the forefront of Telecom.
Awards and Recognition
Mr. Madonna was the 1999 National Finalist of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Mr. Madonna is also a member of the University of Connecticut's Academy of Distinguished Engineers and Hall of Fame. In addition, Mr. Madonna holds more than a dozen engineering patents.

James W. Carroll
President
Jim Carroll has over 23 years of executive experience in systems integration and engineering and is currently the Co–Founder and President of Savant Systems LLC. Jim is responsible for leading sales, marketing, engineering, and operations for Savant.
Prior to Savant, Mr. Carroll held the position of President & Chief Executive Officer of AViX, Inc., a successful high–end Residential Audio/ Video Systems Contracting company. Before entering the A/V installation business, Jim was Executive Vice President & General Manager of the Open Networks System Switching Group at Lucent Technologies.
Preceding Lucent, Mr. Carroll held executive positions at Excel Switching Corporation including: Vice President & General Manager of the Softswitch strategic business unit, Vice President of Customer Engineering and Vice President of Engineering.
Mr. Carroll held various other management positions with Boston Technologies, Brite Voice, Voicetek, and Unitrode including supply chain management, process engineering and director of research and development.

Michael C. Silva
Chief Technology Officer
Michael Silva has been immersed in the high tech sector for 14 years, with a focus on software development, technical leadership and management. Silva's nose for innovation has led to eight patents with several others pending, and his support has led to success for several start–up ventures. Silva has also been published in numerous technical journals.
Recently, Silva has held positions at Excel Switching Corp. (Software Technical Manager), Lucent Technologies (Software Development Director, Softswitch Call Processing), and Sagamore/Starent (Voice and Multimedia Software Development Manager). Silva graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering as well as a Minor in Computer Science.

Bruce Myers
Chief Financial Officer
Bruce Myers is currently the CFO for Savant Systems LLC. In this role, Mr. Myers is responsible for teams that span through a number of departments – Finance and Accounting, Sales, Information Technology and Human Resources.
Prior to Savant, Mr. Myers led Manufacturing Operations and Information Technology teams for Excel Switching Corporation. Preceding Excel, Bruce was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for the Open Network Platforms Group of Lucent Technologies – supporting an over $200 million dollar revenue stream.
Before joining Lucent, Mr. Myers was the Corporate Controller for the original Excel Switching Corporation. Bruce played a lead role during the due diligence process that led to the acquisition of Excel Switching Corporation by Lucent Technologies and continued to do so until both companies were successfully combined in November, 1999.
Mr. Myers' expertise in senior level manufacturing and financial operations spans his entire career.
Bruce is a CPA who earned his BS degree in Accounting from Northeastern University, and has obtained his MBA from Suffolk University.

Tim Locascio
Vice President of Engineering
Tim Locascio spent seven years with Lockheed Martin designing and developing electronic counter measures systems, and is also credited with having patented a communication protocol over the existing cable infrastructure for communicating to remote CDMA antennas. Locascio earned patents in the areas of VoIP and Digital Signal Processing while at Excel Switching. He was named Chief Technology Officer and System Architect at Excel and was a Bell Labs Fellow Award winner in 2000.
As VP of Engineering at Savant, Locascio oversees product development from start to finish. Tim Locascio has a BSEE in Computer Engineering and an MSEE in Digital Signal Processing, both from Northeastern University.

Chuck Parrelli
Vice President of Residential Sales
Chuck Parrelli brings a wealth of sales management success and experience within the CE industry to his position at Savant. Chuck was most recently the Director of Sales for Denon and Boston Acoustics, and was previously the National Sales Manager for Escient - all three companies operated under the D & M Holdings infrastructure.
Prior to his sales management positions at D & M Holdings, Parrelli spent more than 10 years with Thomson, providing effective leadership and addressing critical business development and revenue enhancing functions for this globally-positioned manufacturer of RCA and GE consumer electronics.
At Savant, Chuck will manage residential sales worldwide.

Director of Customer Engineering
Kevin Kicklighter has a diverse background founded in international signaling protocols nurtured through nine years at Excel Switching where he served as Software Engineer, Software Technical Manager and finally Director of Software. Kicklighter worked at Lucent for two years as well, in the position of Software Development Manager, Signaling.
Kicklighter has dedicated his energy to start–up tech firms and was the architect and team leader of a next–generation wireless system, directing the development team credited with quadrupling system performance.
At Savant, Kicklighter and his team address anything and everything required to see that Savant dealers are successful in the field–from customized applications to on–site support, Kicklighter is an invaluable resource to Savant's authorized dealer network. Kicklighter has numerous patents registered in his name and has earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Bruce Hayes
Director of Corporate Quality
Bruce currently serves as
the Director of Corporate Quality for Savant. In this role, Bruce will work with a
number of company departments to proactively drive customer
satisfaction, quality and business improvements across all processes,
functions and products.
Hayes has been leading "results based"
quality and customer satisfaction processes in multiple disciplines and
industries for many years. During his tenure at Motorola, Bruce won 3
CEO Quality Awards, contributed to winning the Malcolm Baldrige National
Quality Award, and had an integral role in the development of the Six
Sigma methodology.
Bruce has successfully performed strategic
and tactical quality consulting, coaching and training at several dozen
Fortune 500 corporations which lead to significant performance
improvements.
Hayes is a contributing author to the 6th edition
of
Juran's Quality Control Handbook (published by McGraw Hill), a
leading source of global expertise.

Jeffrey Rogers
Director of Training
As the Director of Training for Savant, Jeff brings a dedicated and energetic attitude that compliments his reputation for exceptional quality, creativity, and quantifiable results. He is a dynamic presenter with the natural ability to engage an audience.
Prior to Savant, Jeff was the principle instructional designer at Training Allies, LLC where he provided consulting services that included assessment, design and development of training programs for clients within the home electronics industry such as: McIntosh Labs, Marantz and Denon.
Previous to Training Allies, Rogers was the National Director of Training for the Tweeter Home Entertainment Group where he managed curriculum for 1000+ employees in over 90 locations. In addition to being the head administrator for the corporate Learning Management System, Jeff is credited for successfully launching the "TLC-Tweeter Learning Center."
Rogers has completed numerous professional development training courses and CE manufacturer certifications.

Director of Production
Peter Corsini specializes in product design and manufacturing methodology, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Corsini's vast knowledge of mechanical engineering and industrial design has led him to success with such prominent companies as Osram Sylvania (Automotive Lighting Process ME, New Product Development Group), The Gillette Company (Senior ME Automated Assembly & Systems), and Lucent Technologies (Senior Manufacturing Engineer, New Product Development).
Under Corsini's watch, Savant has developed precise and efficient production capabilities to support the development and launch the world's most sophisticated home automation product lineup. Moreover, Corsini has authored numerous U.S. and International patents for product design and manufacturing methods, and has several patents pending.

Craig Spinner
Director of Marketing
Craig Spinner is currently the Director of Marketing for Savant Systems LLC. In this role Spinner is responsible media relations, communications, public relations, trade shows and events, creative marketing and advertisements.
Previous to Savant, Spinner was the Marketing Manager for AViX Inc., a successful high–end Residential Audio/Video Systems Contracting company. Having formerly worked for an integration company, Spinner's industry experience is fitting for his current role at Savant.
Spinner graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in English as well as a Minor in Political Science.
